Conversations on Access to Lethal Means (CALM)

Reducing access to lethal means, such as firearms and medication, can determine whether a person at risk for suicide lives or dies. CALM is a practical training for increasing the time and distance between individuals at risk of suicide and lethal means, particularly firearms. As the oldest and most trusted training on lethal means safety, CALM teaches how to intervene effectively with someone at risk of suicide, both before and during a crisis.

CALM Convos is for general audiences. No clinical background is required. CALM is perfect for community groups, suicide prevention coalitions, shooting clubs, parent groups, EMS/emergency responders, and health professionals. Join us in this vital mission and help save lives!

Adult Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Certification

Get ready to empower yourself with MHFA! You'll learn essential skills to notice and respond to mental health challenges. Led by solid research and evidence, MHFA matters! Studies show it effectively prevents mental health challenges from worsening, reduces stigma, and boosts mental health and recovery. Join us in making a difference!
